  20. The problem is that, according to posts from ZyXEL in this newsgroup 6-7 
  21. months ago, the 2864 hardware is not capable of handling the 33.6Kbps data
  22. rate.  This fact, especially since it was only revealed *after* the end of 
  23. the upgrade offer for 1496-series owners, is why some people are very 
  24. annoyed with ZyXEL.
